About the Images
These paintings are based on sites and experiences in Paris, France. Each is an acrylic/mixed media painting, integrating small pieces of photos and collected materials with abstract forms created through acrylic brushwork. Most of these images were in part influenced by the sky and light that are so beautiful in Paris.
The set of eight paintings above was done on stretched canvases measuring 16" high and 12" wide. The triptych to the right is comprised of three 16" by 12" canvases butted together to form a unit measuring 16" high by 36" wide.
